Cycling Cities

Well then that was a lovely weekend. More on that later, but there was also news.

The Giro d’Italia sorted itself out and basically I blame myself for Cavendish losing the points jersey after I mentioned he was doing well.. Rest assured I will keep quiet about it all over the Tour de France.

In other news, and giving me the option to use an ITV link to follow a BBC link, there was a survey that proved that Plymouth is the best cycling city it he UK this year.

Talking of cycling cities, I bloody love a good urban downhill. I think it’s the elemant of doing something you shouldn’t.

On a Downhill note, here is how Gee Atherton returns to racing after a broken leg. Taking it easy, clearly.

Just to finish up today, here's a bit of slo-mo action from that other recent city cycling event - Empire of Dirt.
