Spring and Chains

It must be spring as in two nicer days cycling to work I have seen more other cyclists run red lights and ride on pavements than I saw all winter. This makes me annoyed and gives everyone on a bike a bad name (although I’ve only got as far as swearing under my breath at them).

In less ranty news, a quick round up of all that’s interesting. As long as you find making lamps interesting.

Otherwise I found out that watching mechanics on the internet can be as useful and inspiring (possibly) as watching riders as I actually used a tip I saw on a film of the Athertons’ mechanic prepping a bike in the real world. He used a bent spoke to take the tension when fitting a chain. I did the same and it worked wonders.
