A Tale of Two Cities

Some little snippets for you this morning to ease you into the weekend.

Firstly the Guardian have had a look at the provision for people who want to cycle to the Olympics, and founds that in several cases it could be not as straightforward as you might hope it would be. It seems like a bit of a missed opportunity to allow people to get to the games on bikes, and to provide a legacy of a workable bike infrastructure..

Mind you if the roads are as gridlocked as they might end up being then nipping round and between cars should almost be like a traffic-free route if you see the stationary cars as just a fixed obstacle.

Otherwise, in news form other big cities, a branding company left a bike on a New York street and took pictures of it each day to see what happened.
