Mixed Olympic News

Another quick one today as FMFT looks forward to a holiday.

In good news for mountain bikers in Essex and surrounding areas, the people of the county have decided that they would very much like to keep the Olympic mountain bike course in place for the public to use after the 2012 games. This is essentially good news connected to the Olympics.

Less good in every way is the story of the cyclist fined £30 for riding legally on a shared-use path built for the event and then told to ride around the Bow Roundabout which is quickly becoming famous as yet another killer junction in London after several people have lost their lives there.
