This weekend brings the last bank holiday of the summer. This is annoying because it means the end of the summer is in sight, but good because, as ever, it hopefully brings more riding, another ride report and more to add to the new FMFT mountain biking map. Look out for all of that, but you’ll have to give me until Tuesday to get it up as usual.
In the meantime the end of the summer isn’t all bad as it looks like the Lordship Rec Loop will be ready in the autumn. It’s getting enough of a reality that British Cycling are even covering it now. It’s being built by Rowan Sorrell’s team, who also did the fantastic Cwm Rhaedr trail, so it should be excellent. Not many things make me look forward to autumn, but this might just do it.
