I have never quite understood the desperate need people have to find clothes that will do everything. I mean if you’re just riding to the shops, wear your everyday clothes – if you’re going further or have the opportunity to change, then why not wear something appropriate to ride in.
However if you want to spend £150 on a pair of trousers that will work reasonably well in almost every situation you can imagine, then look no further than self-proclaimed cycling-style gurus, Rapha. Except, of course, that you can’t buy them as they’re sold out.
Someone who might well be after a new pair of trousers is the guy in this video. How you manage to pull this off I have no idea and I bet there were some interesting moments in practice.
