In many ways we are crawling to the end of a week where the cold weather has broken the FMFT spirit a bit. Hopefully it will pick up next week with some proposed real riding and a bit less snow.
In the meantime, happy news from the Mirror with something of a confusing article about Victoria Pendleton’s engagement, mixed in with a bit of a summary of her recent and future career. All in all it seems the glamorous face of track cycling is off the market, whatever that means.
It’s always nice to hear nice positive news about cycling and support for the infrastructure that keeps cyclists safer and encourages more people to ride. Unfortunately, the tone of this article from the New York Post definitely doesn’t do this, even if the story doesn’t exactly attack cyclists.
