So far all our Christmas gift ideas have been very much male-focussed, but there are presents out there for the lady-cyclist as well. In fact amongst the crafting community it turns out that bicycles on jewellery are the new big thing. In fact a quick search on popular selling-stuff-you-made-yourself website, etsy.com brings up literally hundreds of bicycle inspired jewellery pieces. Clearly you can accessorise to match your bike, or perhaps accessorise your girlfriend to match your bike.
As you might have heard, FMFT have got all excited about BMXs this winter and are bravely trying to relearn tricks that would make a 14 year old skate-park ripper scoff. When you have all the jumps and moves that you might need and have ridden every line in every local park then you’ll be looking for something with a bit more of an edge. Luckily Red Bull can help by adding an extra dimension in terms of potential seasickness with their BMX display park on a boat. I guess if a jump goes really wrong at least landing in the water might hurt less than on concrete, although it might mean losing your bike.
Talking of BMXs I would like to point out that this really isn’t one. It’s good to know you can rely on the Stroud News and Journal for accurate reporting.
