Shaft Drive and Wall Ride

It’s not just bike-hire news that’s been going on recently. Other things have been happening.

For example, there are still people trying to push the design of bikes further and further. The difference here is that, for once there’s a bike that actually looks really good. Called the LDN and based on a shaft-drive it might actually have been a great choice for the hire scheme. Even without this it looks like an eye-catching design for the city cyclist wanting something a whole lot different, and hopefully will be available soon from Biomega .

While you wait for it to come on sale why not head to a bike shop and browse the other offerings that are already on sale. If you head to Germany you might stand the chance of being able to look at the ranges without even having to face walking into a shop if you head to Christian Peterson’s place, where he’s hung his entire stock on the outside walls of his building. Good for browsing, like a live internet page, not so good for doing “knowledgeable” flame-flicking and fork pumping (so that’s probably a good thing).
