Once again FMFT are off on a bike related trip. What this means for us is a few days of, hopefully not too wet, Welsh mountain biking, and for you it means a few days without your regular fix of bike-related rubbish from us and the knowledge that, while you’re in an office watching videos of people riding, we’re probably on top of some hill somewhere.
Hopefully you’ll survive the break, and we’ll be back with more of the usual on Monday 23rd August, where we’ll add in some tales of squeezing the last out of the summer on a bike.
In the meantime the big news around the bike world is the possible change to the Bike to Work Scheme. As with many cyclists looking for a way to get a new ride at a reasonable discount, I am a big fan of the scheme, so it would be a shame to see it changed in a way that doesn’t make it as attractive. There’s plenty of places to joint he debate, and plenty of maths form people who are slightly less hungover than I am and sohave a better handle on it all.
